Corporate Membership in Deep Foundations Institute attests to an organization's commitment to maintaining technological competence in the field of foundation design and construction for the support of heavy structures.

Privileges of Membership

All members receive an Individual Member or Corporate Member membership plaque or certificate.

Each DFI Corporate Member organization, regardless of class, is represented by two designated employees. They are regarded as DFI Corporate Member Representatives. All Corporate Member organizations receive a Corporate Membership plaque.

Larger Corporate Member organizations (Class II & III members) may name additional (four or eight respectively) employees as Corporate Individual Members.

All "Corporate Representatives" and "Corporate Individual Members" receive:

- all membership materials
- the ballot for annual election of Institute trustees
- notices of scheduled seminars, conferences and continuing education short courses
- announcements of new publications released
- solicitations for nominees for the annual Distinguished Service Award and annual Outstanding Project Award
- the bi-annual DFI Membership Roster including the Desk Directory
- the quarterly magazine Deep Foundations.

All "Corporate Representatives" and "Corporate Individual Members" are:
- entitled to attend the Annual General Meeting of DFI Europe
- voting members of the Institute
- eligible to apply to serve on Institute committees, both standing and special
- eligible to hold DFI office - eligible to register for DFI seminars, short courses and conferences
- eligible to purchase copies of DFI publications and other materials at members' rates.


Benefits of Corporate Membership

In addition to the privileges afforded to all members, Corporate Membership brings with it specific benefits:

A Listing in the bi-annual DFI Desk Directory of Foundations Suppliers, Designers and Constructors which is circulated free to developers, architects, general contractors, governmental agencies, corporate construction departments, and utilities throughout the world, and available on-line in PDF format.

A Listing on the Members page of this website which includes a direct link to the Corporate Member organization's website as well as a searchable services description which brings site visitors directly in contact with the Corporate Member company.

Both of the above listings are used by DFI's headquarters office staff as a reference when, as frequently, they are asked to recommend specialists in deep foundations design and construction.
- Wherever a Corporate Member is listed in DFI publications their name appears in Bold Face type.
- Corporate representatives receive electronic versions of DFI's logo for use on letterheads, business cards and institutional advertising to attest to their support of the Institute.
- Corporate representatives automatically receive copies of all new DFI Technical Committee manuals, free of charge.
- All employees of corporate members are eligible to register for DFI seminars, conferences and short courses, as well as secure copies of DFI publications and other materials at members' rates.
- Employees of corporate members may be named to serve on DFI technical committees.
- Employees of corporate members may join as Individual voting members of the Institute at discounted Individual member dues.
- Only corporate members are afforded the opportunity to pre-press order new and reprinted DFI technical manuals, with the rear cover imprinted with the member's logo and address, for client/customer good-will distribution, at the lowest per-copy price.
- Only corporate members are eligible to exhibit at the Annual Conference on Deep Foundations and Members' Meeting.
- Only corporate members are eligible to advertise in the quarterly magazine, Deep Foundations and the bi-annual Desk Directory. Special!

New Corporate Members, including those who convert from Individual Membership, are allowed one free one-eighth page black & white advertisement or $130 off a larger size ad in the first issue of Deep Foundations following announcement of the new membership.

Additional benefits for Class II & Class III Corporate members:

- Class II corporate members may name four employees as Corporate Individual voting members of the Institute at no added charge. - Class III corporate members may name eight employees as Corporate Individual voting members of the Institute at no added charge.

 
Corporate Membership: Class I, II or III

Corporate Entities wishing to join and support DFI as Corporate Members are broken up into three classes based on the following information:

- The type of organization
- The location of the organization
- The size of the organization

- Class I annual dues is €520 Euro
- Class II annual dues is €760 Euro
- Class III annual dues is €1.040 Euro

To determine which class your organization falls into and the annual dues to be collected, look at the Corporate Membership Application(Note: Corporate Members will be queried each year to determine their appropriate class for invoicing.)


Affiliate Corporate Membership

Multiple-office Corporate Member organizations may illustrate their geographical diversity by registering their branch and/or affiliate offices as corporate members with their own Desk Directory listing, Website listing, representatives, etc., at a fee of €240 Euro.

The Affiliate must share the same name as parent Corporate Member organization.

Non-Commercial Corporate Membership

Non-Commercial Organizations such as Government Agencies, Associations, Societies, Union organizations, etc. can join DFI as Non-Commercial Corporate Members with their own Desk Directory listing, Website listing, representatives, etc., at a fee of €240 Euro (at discretion of the Board of Trustees).

 Individual Membership

Individual membership provides a means for individual industry participants to keep abreast of practice as well as the developing technologies in deep foundations design and construction. Individual members play an important role in contributing to a larger consensus voice on behalf of the industry.
Individual members are voting members of the Deep Foundations Institute and listed in the bi-annual Membership Roster, distributed exclusively to DFI Members.


Privileges of Individual Membership

All Individual members receive an Individual Member certificate. Dues cover membership through December of the current year. All Individual Members receive:
- all membership materials
- the ballot for annual election of Institute trustees
- notices of scheduled seminars, conferences and continuing education short courses
- announcements of new publications
- solicitations for nominees for the annual Distinguished Service Award and annual Outstanding Project Award
- the bi-annual DFI Membership Roster including the Desk Directory

Individual Members are:

Independent Individual Membership

Independent Individual annual membership dues are €76 per year. To join, please complete the  Individual Membership Application

Corporate Member Employee Individual Membership

Individual annual membership dues for employees of registered corporate member organizations are €60 per year.

Individual annual membership dues for public sector employees including Federal, State, and Municipal Agencies are €40 per year.

Individual annual membership dues for students are €40 per year. Student must provide a copy of their student ID card upon submission of their application.
