DFI Asian Conference 2009?

DFI's Far East Committee has restarted an initiative to hold an International Conference in Shanghai, China, tentatively Spring 2009, A trip is being planned for Fall 2007 to form a local organizing committee to collaborate with CCES (Chinese Civil Engineering Society) The conference is targeted to attract participation from all of Southeast Asia, not just China, with support from North America and Europe as well.If your organization does business in Asia, has an office in Asia, or you have participated in conferences in the Far East, we encourage you to contact DFI HQ to join this committee and be part of this exciting new DFI venture. The conference is to serve as a kick-off for a subsidiary organization, DFI ASIA, similar to DFI-Europe, but your support and ideas for the mission of this new group are needed. The purpose is to serve the industry's needs in that part of the world and your input is valuable!
